Designing and presenting the Accreditation Model of Public Hospitals
One of the most important management and policy-making functions in the health system is hospital accreditation, which plays an important role in increasing public confidence in the quality of services.
The present research is qualitative, applied in terms of purpose and is part of cross-sectional research. In this study, Delphi technique was used to present a suitable model. Finally, the proposed model was determined with 4 axes, 26 areas and 106 standards. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were assessed and its applicability was evaluated by the best experts in public hospitals in Kerman province.
In this study, the proposed model was evaluated. The mean of accreditation variable was 4.21±0.34. Accreditation and its domains and axes related to each domain were at a strong level. Friedman test was used to rank the dimensions of the validation variable. The component of "prevention, health and social health" had the highest rank with an average of 2.78 and the components of "care and treatment", "service recipient" and "leadership and management" with an average of 2.56, 2.44 and 2.23, they were in the second, third and fourth ranks, respectively. 87.20% of the experts confirmed the effectiveness of the model.
The results of the study confirmed the appropriateness of the proposed model and the strong relationship between its variables and components. Considering the proof of the effectiveness of the proposed model, it can be said that it can take all the same value in providing and providing services and services in hospitals.
