Evaluating the effects of cultural tourism indicators on developmentCase study of Khaf city

Attention to cultural tourism around the world has been growing in recent years, which is due to the growing attention to cultural heritage, growth and development of national and international travel, and on the other hand, the identification of domestic tourism capacities, especially tourism. Culture as an economic stimulus has greatly contributed to the development of cultural tourism by preserving local culture. In Iran, it is possible to develop cultural tourism, especially in cities such as Khaf, due to the existence of numerous subcultures, rich cultural and artistic works and the originality of handicrafts. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the role of cultural tourism indicators in the development of Khaf city. This research has been done by descriptive-analytical method. Field-library method has been used to collect data. The statistical population of the study is the tourists of Khaf city. The sample size was considered 190 using Cochran's formula. A questionnaire was randomly distributed among them. The data of this study were analyzed using SPSS and Amos software. Findings show that all indicators of cultural tourism are desirable from the perspective of tourists in Khaf city except the index of access to the city and providing services to tourists, so to develop cultural tourism we need to develop access infrastructure in this city.
