Spatial analysis of security and its indicators in urban public spaces (Case study: Kangan city
One of the dimensions related to the security of urban environments, space and urban construction. A suitable urban space, to a large extent, provides security and inappropriate urban spaces, destroys it and paves the way for all kinds of social harms and problems. In this regard, this study, with the aim of spatial analysis, has studied the sense of security of citizens in public urban spaces, Kangan city.
This research is a descriptive-analytical methodology and random sampling method, in which the statistical population of the study areas is 30880 people. Therefore, the sample size was 384 with Cochran's formula. The data were analyzed using SPSS software.
The research findings show that the level of security in public spaces in low-income areas with an average of 13.40 is higher than the average level of security of users of public spaces in medium-sized areas (12/59) and prosperous (32). / 13) is. Considering the average data available in different areas of Kangan city, the observed difference between the averages of different areas of the city in terms of the feeling of security in public spaces, although with a slight difference, is confirmed.
