The media's role in the prevention of crime in Bushehr

The issue of crime and its instances is one of the important social phenomena which have cast a horrible shadow in all crises existing around the world. The aim of this study is to examine The media's role in the prevention of crime and improve public safety Bushehr. The research method is in the field form and of correlation type. The statistical population of present study includes all residents in Bushehr County. 1000 persons were selected as the sample by objective and random sampling method. In this research, researcher-made questionnaire and in-depth interview were used for collecting the information and Pearson Correlation test and Independent T test and Variance Analysis were used for data analysis. The results indicated that there is a significant difference between the media's role and prevention of crime among studied persons in regard to their gender, age, and education.
