Police interaction with the social emergency in post-victimization crisis intervention
Prevention of recurrence of victimization is a part of social prevention that is clinically curative. This study aims to focus on the police and social emergencies, examines and presents the interactive role of intervention in the post-victimization crisis.
This research is quantitative in terms of descriptive-survey type and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population according to Morgan's table is 150 police officers and elites and social emergency experts, which was done using a questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. In order to test the reliability of the measurement tool of the questionnaires from "Cronbach's alpha statistics" and in order to test the content validity, the opinion of the relevant elites has been used.
The findings show that the interaction of the police with the social emergency in the rapid dispatch of units with an effect of 0.325, companionship with victims and reduction of injuries with an effect of 0.278, crisis resolution with an effect of 0.267, establishment of a victim clinic with an effect of / 213 0 and education of victims with an effect of 0.193 as a positive and significant result are effective on the response variable (intervention in the crisis after victimization), respectively. In order to provide real and necessary protection to the victims of some crimes that require immediate intervention, it is the police who, through interacting with the social emergency within the framework of a participatory victim-centered criminal policy, address the immediate needs and demands of the victim.
