A Semantic, Conceptual, Practical Study of the Hadiths of the Virtue of Fertile and Kind Women

This research has been done in a library method with the aim of analyzing the meaning of hadiths from the Prophet (PBUH) in "The superiority of women who have multiple children". First of all the hadith “The best of your wives are those who are kind and prolific” was selected among similar hadiths. And after ensuring the authenticity of the document and its text, the lexical meaning was examined. By accepting the apparent meaning of adjective “ prolific “ as having multiple children In the superiority of fertile women, two hypotheses were considered that According to them the expression of this word had been for: 1. the expediency of the time and era of the prophet(PBUH) or 2. a general rule and recommendation for a desirable action in all periods. In the process of research a number of verses and some narrations Including the main criteria of marriage and superiority of individuals were examined to remove the ambiguity resulting from the superiority of this hadith which could have had a negative educational burden. The findings showed that The only distinguishing feature and criterion of superiority of men and women in the holy Quran was the degree of piety and self-purification and In narrations, it is not limited to any specific and absolute adjective. So This result was inductively obtained that the issue of childbearing in its social dimension had been the intention of the Prophet (PBUH) to express the superiority of such women. Because tendency to have more children in Islamic societies, while considering its conditions such as education, security and livelihood of them, will affect positively on Increasing the strength of families, raising a healthy and intelligent generation adhering to moral principles, cultural and social growth and prosperity, progress and excellence of the general public and …. So the above mentioned hadiths could be Incentive instruction for Muslims at all levels of society and Its audience was not only Muslims of the Prophet's time.
