Abstract:

Today, with the increasing volume of traffic and the demand for mobility on the one hand and the increasing road accidents and deaths from it on the other hand, the need for safety engineering and traffic is on the road than ever before. It’s Included the operation of facilities for the return or U-turn in the direction of their movement, and an example of the movement back to the same level is developed U-turn (as amended) that have as an alternative to traditional U-turn construction. in this research 2 U-turns before and after of performance accidents Were examined with Using the two methods were frequency and severity of accidents, Study Results Shows cut modify and Converting it to U-Turn in a significant reduction in accident frequency and in the severity methods U-turn have decreased more than 95%. the benefit-cost Search result for U-turn shows in the Beach Ridge U-turn less than 3 year and in the Nima University U-turn in 10 year, efficiency of the construction cost will be taken and cost of these projects compared with the cost of performance accidents in this point Have been the high profitability.
