Comparative analysis of training indicators of Iranian police with the culture of holy defense and jihadi spirit
The purpose of this article is to compare the training indicators of police students with the indicators of holy defense culture and jihadi spirit with emphasis on the five educational programs of the university and its context, organizational culture and educational characteristics of the above students with emphasis on religious education.
The method of this article is qualitative inductive quantitative content analysis, with emphasis on the sources and documents available at Amin University of Law Enforcement Sciences. The statistical population is five educational projects approved in Amin University of Law Enforcement Sciences with the titles of: "Religious and revolutionary education", "Physical education", "Vocational (specialized) education", "Military-disciplinary education", and "Psychological education and Sociology. The sample size is in full (all five plans approved by the Excellency Council of Amin University of Law Enforcement Sciences). The method of data collection was library and its tool was a reverse questionnaire. For validity, face validity (by experts) and reliability calculation through reliability were used. The method of analysis is also inductive (consideration and comparison except for two texts or the content of the indicators of the culture of sacred defense and jihadi spirit with the five mentioned designs).
The research findings show that in all five educational projects approved in the University of Law Enforcement Sciences, both directly and indirectly, the indicators of the culture of holy defense and jihadi spirit have been mentioned and used. It seems that the coordinated method and uniformity in the implementation and theoretical model of all five plans are clear. Most of the indicators are in the field of religious education and psychological and sociological education, and in the other three areas, more emphasis has been placed on the aspects of professional training (police, combatants, and jihadi managers).
The results show that in these three projects, the indicators of the culture of sacred defense (such as: honesty, sincerity, religious rites, goodwill, obedience, loyalty and commitment) are implicitly mentioned. In the professional training of the police of the Islamic Republic, more emphasis is placed on the scholastic and moral aspects than on the military-operational aspects.
