The Effectiveness group therapy of integration monotheistic approach on positive feelings toward spouse in Married women
In order to determine the effect of group therapy with Monotheistic Integrated approach on the positive feelings of married women towards their husbands, 24 married women referred to the Family Counseling Center of Naghadeh were studied as an available sample. They were selected from those who referred to the counseling center because of family problems and disagreement with their spouse and scored high on the Positive Feeling Questionnaire (PFQ).The research was conducted in a quasi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test-one-month follow-up test and control group. After matching in the control variables, the selected individuals were randomly divided into two groups of 12 people, including the experimental group and the control group. Prior to the intervention, both groups were administered by PFQ. Then, 12 sessions of Monotheistic Integrated group therapy were performed for the experimental group and 12 sessions of free conversation for the control group. After the intervention, and a month later for follow-up, both groups completed PFQ.The results showed that the level of positive feelings towards the spouse in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (F=48/51) (P=0/01). This result persisted for up to one month after the end of treatment sessions. Thus, the effectiveness of integrated monotheistic Couple therapy on improving the positive feelings of married women towards their husbands was confirmed. Therefore, family counselors can use this approach to reduce family problems and increase couples' positive feelings towards each other.
