The first example was Wahhabism in Saudi Arabia. A country that, with its traditional position in maintaining the status quo, was opposed to the Islamic Revolution by the Islamic Revolution, which wanted to change the status quo. Saudi Arabia sought to secure its leadership in the Islamic world by updating its religion, Wahhabism, as the ideological rival of the Islamic Revolution. But ISIL's rival and Wahhabi model has risen up against this political Islam and is showing its part-time government in Iraq and Syria.
