Survey the relationship between air quality and urban resilience in Bandar Abbas and presenting urban management and planning strategies

Cities face important challenges in relation to the pressures of change, urban transformation, and the effects of climate change. Urban resilience in Bandar Abbas is defined as one of the key dimensions of sustainable development, in the sense of "the ability of the city in preparedness, accountability and public health, economy and security." The aim of this Survey was to investigate the relationship between air quality and urban resilience in Bandar Abbas and to present urban management and planning strategies. The process of conducting this research includes: First stage: Evaluation of environmental resilience of Bandar Abbas city in air quality index and components based on the data of air quality monitoring system of the country from environmental stations of Bandar Abbas city and based on calculation, determination and Announcement of air quality index published by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education; Second stage: Evaluation and analysis of resilience of Bandar Abbas city in dimensions and components of air based on air index in accordance with the opinions of experts on urban issues and data access. Step 3: Investigating the relationship between indicators and components of air quality and resilience in Bandar Abbas using the results of t-test. Step 4: Present urban management and planning strategies to make Bandar Abbas resilient in the air quality index according to the frequency of ranking strategies by experts and research results around the world according to the current environmental situation of Bandar Abbas.
