Studying the Lifestyle of Soldiers in a Military Organization
Lifestyle is one of the most important concepts in the social sciences, which has recently been the focus of many sociologists. This research aims to study the lifestyle of soldiers in a military organization. The method of this analytical-descriptive research is survey and 410 people as a statistical sample were selected from among duty employees of a military organization (in three strata: privates, non-commissioned officers and officers) based on purposeful, accessible and random sampling then a researcher-made questionnaire were conducted among them. In this research, the effect of military service on 5 aspects of soldiers' quality of life was investigated. The results showed that military service has improved the soldiers' lifestyle in terms of social relations with an average of 3.4, awareness with an average of 3.3, attitude with an average of 3.27, appropriate habits with an average of 3.24, and mental health with an average of 3.17. Although the effect of this era on the quality of life of soldiers were different based on strata, level of education, service history and age, but generally, it has a significant effect on the future lifestyle of young people; so serious attention should be paid to this field.
