Search for the most widely used components of regionalism in the works of women regionalist architects (In the Pahlavi period)

In the Pahlavi period, modernity entered Iran And the development of modernity ignores the identity of Iranian architecture. However, some architects who agreed with the current of International style(modern) architecture tried to preserve the originality and identity of Iranian architecture in their works And formed architecture consistent with the principles of regionalism. The purpose of this research is to investigate, female architects used more factors of regionalism to preserve the originality and identity of Iranian architecture In the Pahlavi period , And in fact, the main question is, "What have been the most used factors in regionalism to link modern architecture and Iranian architecture in the works of women architects of the Pahlavi period?". The focus of this research is on the works of female architects published in the Journal of Art and Architecture in 1975 And the statistical community consists of the works of architects who have an Iranian architectural identity And since female architects are not known in the history of architecture in the Pahlavi period, The study and analysis of their works leads to the achievement of valuable and original results in contemporary Iranian architecture, research of this kind is necessary. It is assumed that the architects tried to achieve regional architecture by using the geometry and proportions of Iranian architecture and using Iranian architectural elements. This research is of qualitative type and the research method is historical-interpretive and descriptive-analytical. The method of data collection is documentary and their analysis method is coding and case analysis. The results show that the use of geometry and proportions of Iranian architecture, adaptation to the climate of the region, the use of national elements of the most widely used factors of regionalism to link modern and Iranian architecture in the works of women architects of the Pahlavi period.
