Sociological explanation of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom

In all human societies, there are values ​​that form the core of the culture of that society. The importance and position of these values ​​is such that every nation considers its identity and social and political life in adherence and respect to them, its complete transmission to future generations. In the scientific approach and from the perspective of social science theories, self-sacrifice and martyrdom is defined not as a purely emotional matter, but as a rational behavior and a component of rational actions focused on value; In such a way that as a behavioral system and functional value-rational model, "everywhere" and "anytime" is presented that can be in the subsystems of a society (family, education, economy, law, politics, etc. .) Be the basis of behavior and form the basis of the cohesion of the new collective conscience and social structures of the new society; The purpose of this article is to explain the sociology of the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom in Iranian society and to identify the factors and components affecting the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom. This research is purposeful, fundamental and based on a descriptive method.
