Analysis of atmospheric relationship between Europe-North Atlantic and its impact on the variability of rainfall in the western half of Iran
In this study, using data the 50-year period (1961-2010) from two center atmospheric data, NOAA and the National Weather Service of Iran, by using the Pearson correlation in Excel software, Were analyzed atmosphere geopotential height relationship within Europe and the North Atlantic at levels of 850 500 and 300 hPa. Based on the findings there is inverse Relationship and the other words oscillating between changes geopotential height atmospheric levels examined In the areas investigated between Europe and the North Atlantic. Based on these findings East D network contract (Groups of Switzerland and Germany) and Western B (within the territories of southern Greenland) has a very strong relationship and are inverses in investigated levels. Accordingly, indexes designed height difference show, in autumn a strong relationship with the rainfall anomaly in the western half of Iran So that with station such as Khorramabad, Urmia, Sanandaj, Kermanshah, Hamedan and Arak, meaningful connections beyond 99٪ confidence level have shown with a correlation coefficient of 0٫57 to 0٫47. According to the results this relationship limited to the fall season and was not seen in the winter very strong and significant Relationship.
