The Status of mental health concepts in high school thinking and lifestyle textbooks

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the Status of concepts and components of mental health in the books of thinking and lifestyle of the seventh and eighth grades of the first year of high school in the academic year 1410-1400 with the method of quantitative content analysis. The data collection tool is a content analysis list, the validity of which has been confirmed by experts in this field. In order to determine the reliability of the research instrument, the retest method was used and the value of correlation coefficient was 0.87. Findings from the analysis using SPSS software (version 25) and non-parametric statistical method showed that there is no significant difference between the chapters of books on thinking and lifestyle of both grades in terms of physical and behavioral health and individual mood. . And only the component of social action is not evenly distributed. And there is no significant difference between the level of attention to mental health concepts and the distribution of mental health concepts in these two books is almost uniform.
