Comparative Study of Allameh Tabatabaee and Krishnamorti’s Views on “Thinking” and its Obstacles

Thinking is among the main concepts recommended in Holy Quran as well as hadith books. On the other hand, the same words are abundantly used in Jido Krishnamorti works with a different perspective. Now the question is whether the two thinkers, Allameh Tabatabaee and Krishnamorti, share the same ideas on the issue or they have differences. For this research, descriptive–analytical methods have been used by studying the works of Allameh Tabatabaee and those of Krishnamorti. At first, Allameh looks absolutely supporting of thinking. On the other hand, Krishnamorti seems to be against it, but deep study shows that both Allameh and Krishna are in agreement about thinking. Both have somehow divided it into right and wrong and approved the former and rejected the latter. It should be noted that their views on thinking are not completely the same.They have similarities and differences.
