Designing and validating a model for measuring the quality of sports news websites

Today, websites are considered as one of the main tools for accessing sports information and news, and effective quality assessment to meet the needs of users is the first necessary step to improve their performance; therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of designing and validating a model for measuring the quality of sports news websites. The present study is a descriptive-survey that was conducted with the aim of development-application. The statistical population of the study included users of sports news sites who were selected by available sampling method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose face and content validity was confirmed by experts and reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In order to validate the research measurement model, second-order factor analysis was used. Based on the obtained results, the regression coefficients of the components of the proposed model include content (0.781), user support (0.603), simplicity and ease of use (0.429), attractiveness (0.699) and technical characteristics. (0.673) was significant and the findings of factor analysis confirmed the importance of the factors under the conceptual model of the research. Considering the identified indicators in the design and management of sports news sites, can guarantee the quality and ultimately the satisfaction of the audience.
