Abstract:
When referring to prominent sources in the history of the thought of ancient Iran and Islamic thought, two concepts of "Farrah" and "Dignity" are very revealing. Perhaps can not be established at first glance, the link between these two concepts. But with the Conceptual rooting of these two words in the Iranian and Islamic Intellectual tradition and their position in the political affairs, they can be found in the semantic and practical relationship between them. In this article, we try to show the conceptual and practical relationship between these two words as a central concept in the Islamic political and ancient Iranian thought. Farah and dignity can be considered in a general definition of meaning, and that particular attribute of man, which makes him different in nature and owns the right. The main question of this research is: What is the relationship between the concept of "Farah" in Iranian political thought and "dignity" in Islamic political thought? The method used in this research is comparative and based on the pattern of agreement and the difference Przeworski and Twain.
