Factors affecting social capital in the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract:
The quality of social capital in any organization paves the way for the future development of that organization in cultural, political, social and knowledge dimensions. In fact, social capital reduces organizational costs by trying to neutralize threats and focusing on systemic damage. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting social capital in the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran (AJA). This article is based on the purpose of applied research, based on the combined research approach (qualitative-quantitative) and based on descriptive-analytical research method. The statistical population in the qualitative part includes 20 AJA experts and in the quantitative part, all AJA employees and the sample size includes 384 employees in the four AJA forces, who were selected in a stratified and then simple random manner. After identifying and confirming the factors using fuzzy Delphi technique, parametric statistical tests were used to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaire. The results showed that the factors of moral leadership, livelihood, organizational training, religiosity, readiness and presence as well as job security are the most important factors affecting social capital in AJA.
