Purpose of the research:
The purpose of this article is to study the indigenous knowledge of traditional ranchers in the territory of Semnan province, especially Sangsari and Elikai tribes, with a special focus on "lamb" breeding. In this study, the question has been answered that in traditional animal husbandry, what techniques have been common in the field of production, maintenance and exploitation of lambs.
The research data was collected by ethnographic method and interpreted using anthropological techniques. Geographical area of research: The statistical population of the study consists of the tribes and clans of "Nimeh Kochro" and "Rame Gardan" of Semnan province.
