Evaluating the effect of social security on social vitality in the coastal cities of Nowshahr and Chalous
Feeling cheerful is one of the most significant supports for individuals in dealing with problems. Real vitality depends on the fact that one meets his or her inner and hidden demands in a way that society and its usual norms accept it. The purpose of this research is to investigate on the effect of social security on social vitality.
This paper is practical in terms of the purpose and is in the category of descriptive-correlational research in terms of the method of application. The statistical population in this study consists of 95,000 young people between 18 and 45 years old in the coastal cities of Nowshahr and Chalous; In order to pick the statistical sample, Cochran's sampling technique is utilized, which estimated the number of 382 people by simple random sampling. The data collection tools are a researcher-made questionnaire on social security and the standard Oxford questionnaire on social vitality. The credibility of which is confirmed using the content validity method and the reliability is certified by calculating Cronbach's alpha. Also, this approach employed the SPSS software to test the hypotheses.
The findings indicate that the sense of social security has a positive and significant impact on the social vitality of Nowshahr and Chalous youth. On the other hand, the research findings based on the Friedman test revealed that social interaction with a coefficient of 3.22 is the first priority; As a result, the sense of social security has the greatest effect on social interaction. In the long run, appearance beauty with a coefficient of 3.09 is in the second priority and life satisfaction with the coefficient of 2.79 is in the fifth and final rank. Hence, the sense of social security has the least effect on life satisfaction.
The results illustrate that the more young people feel social security, the more they have a better social vitality.
