The effectiveness of Integrated Divorce Prevention Model on the Divorce Abandonment and Family adaptability in Spouses seeking divorce
The aim of the present study was The effectiveness of integrated model on Divorce Abandonment and Family adaptability in Spouses seeking divorce. The present study was a Quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design and follow-up with a control group. The statistical population of the study Quasi-experimental the couples seeking divorce in Bushehr Judicial Counseling Center in 1396. A total of 30 couples were selected using available sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental groups and control group. Divorce desire Rusbult questionnaire (1986) and Olson’s Family Adaptability Questionnaire (1996) was completed in pre-test, post-test and three-month follow-up period. The intervention program was conducted in 7 sessions of 90 minutes and one session per week, based on the framework of Hughes (1994) and Carlson, Sperry & Lewis (2005) and during this period, the subjects in the control group received no intervention had an effect on the Data were analyzed using Analysis of variance with repeated measures and Bonferroni post hoc test at a significance level of 0.05 and using SPSS statistical software. The results showed that the Integrated Prevention of Divorce model had an effect on the Decreased desire for divorce and Family adaptability in the post-test (P<0.0001) And this effect was permanent in the follow-up stage (P<0.0001). It can concluded that by adopting divorce prevention approaches, we can prevent divorce in the community and help to remove the severe conflicts between the couples seeking divorce..
