A Study of Effective Factors on the Establishment of Knowledge Management in Iran's Rowing Federation

The purpose of the present study is to review effective factors on the establishment of knowledge management in Iran's Rowing Federation. Using a mixed approach as well as meta-synthesis methods and interpretive structural modeling, the present research deals with the assessment of the maturity condition and designing an optimal model for knowledge management establishment in the Rowing Federation of Iran. In this research, Sandelowski and Barroso's 7-stage method (2007) was used. The criteria of knowledge management establishment were extracted from selected articles and considered as codes. Accordingly, 53 codes in the framework of 8 general and 3 fundamental concepts were recognized which were regarded as the basis for other sections of the research. Meta-synthesis results led to the recognition of 98 sub-criteria (codes), 14 criteria, and 3 main aspects in knowledge management establishment.
