Analytical study of the theory of symmetric order in explaining the coherence of Surah Yusuf (with emphasis on Raymond Farrin approach)
One of the types of Quranology in recent decades among Orientalists and Muslims is new research in recognizing new areas of the order of the Holy Quran. In this regard, research based on symmetric order has been able to occupy a good position in this regard. The present article, using a descriptive-analytical method, will examine the approach of "Raymond Farrin", a contemporary Quran researcher. Relying on the theory of symmetrical order, he analyzes the rhetoric of Surah Yusuf. This article first introduces the concept of symmetrical order and then expresses Raymond Farrin's view on the order of Surah Yusuf and reviews it. Raymond Farrin divides Surah Yusuf into eleven sections and establishes an inverse relationship between the sections of the Surah and presents a general and comprehensive model of the relationship between the sections of the Surah. Among the criticisms of his work; We can not mention the principles of division and misinterpretations of Surah Yusuf, such as the negativity of the soul, Yusuf's inclination towards Zulaikha, and the imprisonment of the thief of the King's Cup. One of the results of this research is proving the regular structure of Surah Yusuf
