Abstract:
Since literature has been considered as a mirror of society as a whole, the purpose of this study is to examine social issues in the poems of the Timurid period. The present work has been done by library and analytical-descriptive methods. Findings indicate that various social topics such as rituals related to weddings, feasts, mourning and various beliefs related to animals, plants, games, entertainment, etc. are abundant in the poems of this period. As a result, the mentioned motifs and themes are reflected more than others in the poems of Jami, Shah Nematullah Vali, Amir Alishir Navai, Helali Joghtai and Ahli Shirazi, respectively. Among the national celebrations, only the celebration of Nowruz is mentioned in the poems of this period. Also, the appearance of all kinds of clothing and apparel related to Sufis, such as dalaq, fur, cloak, cloak, marqa, tilsan, quba, etc., evokes an image of a generally mystical society in the mind of the audience.
