Evaluation and analysis of geotourism competitiveness of Nir city using Pavlova model
. Considering the increasing development of this part of the tourism industry, the discussion of marketing and competitiveness is considered among the new and serious issues in this field. The purpose of the current research is to evaluate and analyze the geotourism competitiveness of Nir city. Identifying the strengths and weaknesses can help to improve the competitiveness of geotourism in Nir city. Pavlova model was used in this research. This model is based on the formation of positive and negative factors and related calculations. The results indicate that among the positive factors, three factors, the possibility of spa treatment with a weight percentage of 19.95, hydrogeological sites with a weight percentage of 18.06, and protected areas with a weight percentage of 11.11 are the most important positive factors in the competitiveness of Nir city. Coming. Among the negative factors, the lack of suitable infrastructure with a weighted percentage of 21.43, budget deficit for the development of the region with a weighted percentage of 19.64, and the non-conceptual development of geotourism with a weighted percentage of 17.86 are considered to be among the most effective negative factors on the competitiveness of tourism in Nir city. The results of the ranking ratio show that the positive factors gained 56.25 percent weight and the negative factors got 43.75 percent weight. Based on this, the rating ratio of tourism competitiveness of Nir city is equal to 1.67, which is in the good classification group. Therefore, it is concluded that the presence of serious weaknesses in some fields of tourism in Nir city, such as insufficient or unfavorable spatial of infrastructure and facilities, has caused Nir city not to be placed in the top tiers in terms of the of geotourism. Therefore, it is suggested to study the factors affecting tourism economy in future studies.
