The Role of Social Networks in Answering the Religious Questions of secondary School Students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of social networks in answering religious questions of secondary school students. The research method was applied in terms of achieving the goal and the survey in terms of collecting information. The statistical population of this study was all high school students in District 1 in Ardabil. A total of 368 samples were calculated using Cochran's calculation method and through the stratified sampling method, samples were selected from schools in District One, selected from the study population. The measurement tool included a questionnaire on the role of social networks in answering students' religious questions. Data were analyzed by SPSS software. Findings showed that in the overall score, social networks can answer students' religious questions. Among the four dimensions of religiosity, social networks were able to answer doctrinal, emotional, and consequential questions. But they were not able to answer the religious questions of the students. According to the results, it can be concluded that social networks can be one of the most important tools for the development of religiosity and for answering students' doubts and questions.
