The right to security and its human rights challenges in the criminal policy of Iran and the United States

The right to security is the first and most individual need that human beings seek.Man has empirically understood that in choosing between freedom and security, he sacrifices freedom for security.Therefore, governments increase their powers by magnifying security. This approach, in some cases, leads to the violation of some human rights of human beings, under the heading of violation of the right to security.While the existence of security, for individuals and the government, creates a task independently. Individuals are obliged to respect each other's material and spiritual rights, and the government provides security for the people by enacting laws and administrative and judicial organizations.The need for security in society has sometimes led to some human rights needs being met. The present study aims to investigate the right to security and its human rights challenges in the criminal policy of Iran and the United States.This research has been done in the form of theoretical and library studies with descriptive and analytical methods. The results of the study show that the existing challenges imply that securityism is not necessarily a completely negative and transgressive strategy. However, if, in its wake, human rights standards are violated and tools are provided for governments that can hang on to them, at least monitor the social movements of citizens and their right to security, it is by no means a viable process. It is not a defense and can even have the opposite effect.
