The effectiveness of the educational package to reduce academic burnout on goal setting and academic coherence girl students of the second year of high school
The current study was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of the educational package to reduce academic burnout on the goal selection of the direction and academic cohesion of the female students of the second year of high school. The experimental research method was a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of this research included all the female students of the second year of secondary school in Ardabil city in the academic year of 2001-2001. Using simple random sampling method, 40 students were selected as a statistical sample and two groups of 20 students (experimental and control) were assigned. For the experimental group, 10 sessions of 90-minute intervention training package to reduce academic burnout were provided. In order to collect data in the pre-test and post-test stages, academic burnout questionnaire, direction goal selection questionnaire and academic cohesion questionnaire were used. Data analysis was analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. The findings showed that the educational program to reduce academic burnout had a significant effect on improving goal setting (P < 0.01) and increasing academic cohesion (P < 0.01) of girl students in the second year of high school.
