Assessing US Foreign Policy on Counterterrorism During the Presidencies of Barack Obama and Donald Trump

Terrorism is not a new phenomenon. History is full of terrorist acts; Actions that have taken the lives of countless innocent human beings, deprived many human beings of their fundamental rights and freedoms, endangered our friendly relations between states, and undermined the territorial integrity and security of states. It is endangered. The purpose of this study is to provide an analytical and comparative look at the approach of Barack Obama and Donald Trump to counter-terrorism in the Middle East. In this study, we answer the question of whether the US unilateralist approach to terrorism moves toward multilateralism. The research hypothesis is that the "American foreign policy approach" in the fight against terrorism is changing from unilateralism to multilateralism.
