Content Analysis of Economic Textbooks of Secondary High School from the Perspective of Reflecting “Eghtesad-e-Moghavemati” Concepts
This study is conducted by using content analysis and is aimed to analyze the content of economic textbooks of the secondary high school in the educational years 1395-1396, inquiring whether it reflects the Eghtesad-e-Moghavemati’s concepts. The statistical population of the research is textbooks of economics. The data collection tool is the checklist. The validity of the checklist is confirmed by the specialist professors. The reliability of the tool is estimated 0.75 by the coefficient of agreement between the measuring of two independent researchers. The data are inserted into SPSS software in order to analyze the available data and information in the in questionnaires. Tables and charts are used for the descriptive statistics, and chi-square and Friedman tests are used in the inferential statistics level. The followings are the results of this study: Eghtesad-e-Moghavemati in textbooks of the secondary high school is reflected less than the average level. Protectionism in the textbooks of economics of the secondary high school is reflected more than the average level. The related-policies of the constitutional 44th article is reflected less than average in the textbooks of economics. Consideration of elites in the economics textbooks of secondary high school is reflected less than average. Finally, the use of modern technologies in the economics textbooks of secondary high school is reflected more than average.
