Pathology of the Islamic Society Based on the Content Analysis of the Hazrat Zahra`s Sermon (pbuh)
The Fadakieh sermon of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) is a sermon delivered at a critical historical time after the death of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). Examining the themes and content of that sermon with textual research methods can have significant results. In this research, using the method of “thematic content analysis”, an attempt to analyze the themes and orientations of this historical text, and to extract the approaches and goals of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) from expressing different topics in this sermon. The results of the research indicate that contrary to the common and old assumption in society that the subject of this sermon is a dispute over Fadak’s ownership, the main purpose of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) in delivering the sermon was to protect the Islamic society from seditions and harms. Therefore, half of the sermon deals with pathology and introduces the weaknesses of the Muslim community and the second part introduces the ways out of those injuries. Factors such as; The current of hypocrisy, blindness and inattention of the people to their responsibilities in the Islamic society, disregard for the Quranic teachings and welfare are among the most important harms of the Islamic society. Reconsidering the prophetic discourse, returning to two precious things (the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt), returning to monotheistic teachings and adhering to individual and social laws are introduced as a way out of those problems. Another important result of this research is the discovery of the problem-solving model of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH), the details of which are described in the article.
