Strategic factors affecting the productivity of operational forces of large organizations

Human power is considered the most valuable asset of any organization, and among them, the front line units and forces are responsible for the implementation of the mission and the main tasks of the organization. Considering the importance of operational forces in large organizations, this research seeks to identify factors affecting the efficiency of operational forces in these organizations. The current research is fundamental and exploratory, qualitative in terms of its purpose. The strategy used in this research is classical data-based theorizing. Based on the research method chosen in this research, a judgmental purposeful sampling method was used, in which sampling continued until reaching theoretical saturation, and unstructured interviews were conducted with 22 experts. The data was coded in three stages, open, central and selective, and at the end, the conceptual model of the research was extracted. In the open coding stage, 217 codes were extracted by the researchers, which were organized in the form of 63 sub-categories and 6 main categories in the axial coding stage. The six main categories include individual, occupational, organizational, managerial, external environment and physical environment and equipment dimensions. The findings indicate that the main dimensions identified in the research have an impact on the productivity of the operational forces of large organizations.
