Analysis of the economic effects of Nassaji football team on the coastal tourism industry of Mazandaran province

Today, the tourism industry has become one of the most important industries in the world in terms of income generation and impact on the economic growth of countries. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to analyze the economic effects of the Nassaji football team on the coastal tourism industry of Mazandaran province.
The current research is a descriptive-analytical method, which is part of applied research in terms of its purpose. The statistical population of this research included supervisors, athletes, coaches, technical staff and fans of the premier football league teams, and the statistical sample size was also measured by Morgan's table. For this purpose, a questionnaire was designed and through it, they were asked about the costs of beach tourism during football matches in Mazandaran province. For data analysis, Spss and Excel software were used using the TAPSIS technique.
The results of the research showed that holding the country's premier football league matches in this province has increased the number of sports and beach tourists, and also has the greatest economic effect of holding these matches on the hotel industry, air transportation, intercity transportation, nutrition, transportation, respectively. Within the city, renting sports fields, visiting beaches and the sea, buying souvenirs, visiting historical places, medical expenses, etc.
According to the findings of the research, it is suggested to the authorities by emphasizing on planning and supporting the sustainable development of beach tourism and sports tourism, which in turn has increased the number of beach and sports tourists in the province, which can help the economic development of Mazandaran province.
