Designing a Strategic Thinking Model Based on General Ghasem Soleimani’s Strategic Thoughts
Today's world, full of change and challenge, has faced many challenges to organizations, and the common strategic planning models have lost their validity to some extent in such conditions. In order to act with these challenges, one of the recommended paradigms is strategic thinking. Strategic thinking Enables managers with appropriate flexibility in decision-making and can be used as a dominant paradigm in today's era. Although strategic thinking is not an unknown concept in the field of strategic management, the problem that exists is the incompatibility of Common models with the Islamic culture and context of Iranian society. In addition, in most strategic thinking models, the theoretical aspect surpasses the practical aspect, and this issue makes the users of these models consider them abstract and non-operational. In order to solve this problem, this research has used General Soleimani's strategic thoughts to design expected strategic thinking model. In this regard, the method of inductive-deductive thematic analysis was used to analyze the data and answer the questions, and the comparative part of the research was done with the help of the five-part strategic thinking model of Liedtka (1998). In data analysis with the help of Maxqda2020 software, 458 basic themes, 79 organizing themes and 20 global themes were identified. Finally, 20 global themes identified were classified under the four dimensions of duty thinking, Religious and belief thinking, ideological thinking and human based thinking, which show the main dimensions of General Soleimani's strategic thinking.
