The performance of engineering groups of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in humanitarian operations in dealing with floods and earthquakes
Considering the scope of the crisis during earthquakes, floods, forest fires and storms, organizations related to crisis management have sufficient capacity and resilience to manage and control affairs and the presence of forces and forces in the environment. The purpose of this evaluation is the performance of Nazaja engineering groups in relief operations to the people in dealing with floods and earthquakes.
The type of applied research is descriptive and mixed with research. The statistical population in this research includes commanders, managers and employees of engineering groups and their number is 150 people. The sample size is 78 people based on Cochran's formula.
The performance of Nezaja engineering groups in the relief operations, considering the presence of heavy engineering machines, the sufficient amount in terms of number, up-to-dateness, skills and specialists, timely sending of people to the disaster areas, proper management of heavy vehicles, appropriate division of labor. Several dredging works and river dredging have been changed in adverse weather conditions and in river flood risk conditions.
The performance of Nezaja engineering groups in the use of heavy engineering equipment and the installation and operation of equipment bridges in humanitarian operations was evaluated as very good and in the use of expert manpower.
