The effectiveness of hope therapy on happiness and quality of life in divorced women in Zahedan
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of hope therapy and quality of life in divorced women in Zahedan. This research aims to be an applied research, and in terms of how to collect information, it is experimental and pre-test-post-test with a control group. The statistical population included all the women of Zahedan city in 1402, who were selected using the voluntary sampling method and the number of 60 people were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. The research tools include Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (1990), World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire (1994) and Snyder's Hope Therapy Training Protocol (2002). To analyze the data, Levin and Kolmogorov Smirnov test and covariance analysis were used. The results showed that hope therapy significantly increased happiness and quality of life in divorced women of Zahedan city (P<0.01). Therefore, the educational protocol of hope therapy can be used as an effective intervention in increasing the happiness and quality of life of divorced women.
