Comparing the Effectiveness of Schema Therapy and Mutual Behavior Analysis on Marital Heartbreak, Marital Conflict and Communication Skills of Couples Applying for Divorce
The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of schema therapy and mutual behavior analysis on communication skills of couples applying for divorce.
The research method was a semi testing a type of control group with pre-test, post-test and three month follow up.The statistical population of this study included all couples applying for divorce who were referred by the family court to counseling and psychological service centers licensed by the Psychology System Organization of Rasht city from October to January of 2018 due to severe conflict. forty five qualified people were selected based on the entry and exit criteria and by purposive sampling and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups.The data collection tool was Quin dam's Communication Skills Questionnaire (2004).Both the experimental and control group were pre-tested using research tools.
The results of the research showed that schema therapy is more effective than mutual behavior analysis terapy in Communication Skills.
Therefore, it is suggested that in order to improve communication skills, the use of schema therapy methods should be taken into account more than before
