Presenting a Model of Teacher Ethics Training with Emphasis on Islamic Teachings
The present research was conducted with the aim of providing a modelof teacher ethics training with emphasis on Islamic teachings. In terms offundamental-applied purpose, in terms of information data, the mentioned researchwas of a mixed type and in terms of execution, the foundation data was in thequalitative part and the descriptive survey was in the quantitative part.
The statistical community in the qualitative part of theresearch included education experts. To determine the samples, a targeted nonrandom sampling method was used, and 20 people were considered as the samplesize using the principle of saturation. The second group of the statistical communityof this research in the quantitative part included all the teachers of the second yearof secondary education in Tehran, numbering 2522 people. Cochran's formula wasused to determine the sample size of the quantitative part and 300 people wereselected as the research sample. The sampling method in this research was clusterrandom. Semi-structured interviews were used in the qualitative part of thisresearch. In order to collect data in the quantitative part, library methods (includingbooks, authoritative scientific databases and university theses) and field methods(questionnaire created by the researcher) were used. In order to ensure the validityof the tool in the qualitative part of the research and to ensure the accuracy of thefindings from the researcher's point of view, the opinions of professors familiarwith this field and university experts who were experts and knowledgeable in thisfield were used. Also, test-retest reliability and intra-subject agreement methodwere used to calculate the reliability of the conducted interviews. Face, content andconstruct validity were used to determine the validity of the questionnaire.Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability were used to determinereliability. The method of data analysis in the qualitative part of theoretical codingwas derived from the data theorizing method. In the quantitative part, according tothe research questions, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, skewnessand kurtosis) using SPSS-21 software and inferential (Pearson correlation,confirmatory factor analysis) using SPSS-v21, Smart Pls- v2 and Lisrel-v8 wereused.
The results of the present study showed that the dimensions of teacherethics training with an emphasis on the teachings of Islam in second year secondaryschool teachers in Tehran include cognitive training, emotional training, andbehavioral training. Also, the effective aspects of teacher ethics training withemphasis on Islamic teachings in second year secondary school teachers in Tehraninclude values and moral norms of society, policy making and planning ineducational system, teacher and curriculum.
The foundations and obstacles of the implementation of teacher ethicstraining with emphasis on the teachings of Islam in the second year secondaryschool teachers of Tehran, including environmental, social, educational, support,planning in the educational system and teachers' awareness were introduced.Finally, the conceptual model of the research was presented, which had favorablevalidity.
