Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of perceived organizational policy on employees' creativity with the mediating role of tacit knowledge and the moderating role of professional commitment. The statistical population includes 680 employees of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan Province, 246 people were selected as the sample size using the available sampling method through Cochran's formula. This research is descriptive-survey in terms of practical purpose and in terms of the method of doing the work. In order to collect data, standard questionnaires were used. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using the structural equation modeling method and SPSS and Smart PLS software. The findings of the research hypotheses test showed that the perceived organizational policy through the mediating role of hidden knowledge has an effect on the creativity of the employees of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan Province. The perceived organizational policy has an effect on employee creativity through the moderating role of professional commitment. The perceived organizational policy had a significant effect on hidden knowledge, but its effect on employee creativity was rejected. Finally, the effect of hidden knowledge and professional commitment on the creativity of employees of the General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan Province was significant. The result of the research shows that if the policy and work policy in the organization is understandable for the employees, by using the hidden knowledge of the people, it is possible to increase the field of creativity and finally, by increasing the professional commitment, the hidden knowledge can be reduced or turned into revealed knowledge and this way also created a creativity climate for the employees.
