Abstract:
This research aims to examines the role of nations' political will in determining and changing their political destiny. Using content analysis, this study seeks to test the hypothesis that the political will of nations plays a decisive role in changing the political destiny of society. Accordingly, this investigation aims to identify the practical components influencing the political destiny of societies and their level of determinacy. In this research, the interaction of three elements, namely formation, strategy, and nature, and the role and contribution of each in determining the destiny of society are explored, with an emphasis on elucidating Professor Motahhari's theory in this regard. In order, firstly, formation, i.e., the eternal divine traditions governing the cosmic system, and human aspects (such as the principle of causality or necessity, security, system, government, and justice) are both the cause and the necessary factor, i.e., the enforcer and necessity provider. Secondly, personal, collective, socio-economic, political, and cultural strategies of human agency serve as the cause and the productive factor, i.e., the creator. Thirdly, nature is an influential factor, i.e., effective in facilitating, accelerating, intensifying, or conversely, hindering, delaying, and diminishing efficacy. The research findings indicate that Professor Motahhari, by introducing the theory of "Commanding the Good and Forbidding the Evil," considers other formative and natural causes and factors as causative and influential in determining and changing the destiny of humans, nations and political systems, and classifies intentional, discretionary, and human causes as causative factors.
