Abstract:
Donald Trump's government administration has promised to finish the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the West Asian region by implementing a new initiative named the Deal of the Century. By this deal, Israel will dominate the West Bank as much as possible and ignore the return rights of Palestinian refugees and the formation of a Palestinian state. The main question of this research is as follows:“To what extent is the implementation of the deal of the century which can endanger the security order in the Middle East?” Based on the available evidence, the hypothesis is that if the deal of the century is implemented, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and the Persian Gulf countries will find sufficient justification for normalizing their relations with Israel. Meanwhile, the resistance Therefore, regional security will face an unprecedented risk because the possibility of Arab and Israeli cooperation against the resistance axis will grow more than ever. If some of its provisions are implemented unilaterally, it will only increase tensions in the Middle East. The authors have used the model of "resolving territorial disputes" to analyze the probability of this project's success, using analytical and descriptive methods. In this research, Richard Little's "security environment" concept has been used to explain the balance of asymmetric forces resulting from the implementation of the deal of the century.
