Today, international migration has become one of the biggest issues and challenges facing the countries of the world in the age of globalization. On the one hand, the presence of immigrants in the social, economic and political structures of immigrant-receiving countries has become a special capacity for the development of those countries and to achieve a colorful role in global governance, and on the other hand, it has become a factor for the weakening of security and economic stability indicators. has been This research, using a descriptive-analytical approach based on the analysis of available statistics, examines the change in the approach to the migration issue from the social dimension to political, economic and security opportunities and challenges, with an emphasis on the Islamic Republic of Iran and its effects on the global geopolitical environment in The era of globalization has paid off.
