Evaluation of Indigenous Knowledge for Sustainable Economic Development of Rural Areas (Study Area; Farmahin Farahan)

The goal of this study is to support indigenous knowledge for the economic development of the village and the use of power and participation of the people, management and technical and local capacities. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and analytical and survey methodology with questionnaire tools. The statistical population is used by rural geography experts in Farmahin. The results show that in the components related to indigenous knowledge, the participatory component is lower. This means that this component does not have the desired limit. The level of significance obtained indicates that the mean obtained is lower than the desired mean and the indigenous knowledge in Farmihan is not in a good condition. There is the most correlation between the components of supervision and co-existence and the least correlation between participation and co-existence in the indigenous knowledge of the region, so the research hypothesis is rejected.
