The Role of Sports in the Social Resilience of Athletes: A Study in Kerman
The current research was conducted to know the role of sports in the social resilience of physical fitness athletes in Kerman city in 1401-1402. This research is practical in terms of purpose. The method is grand theory. The statistical population in this research was the physical fitness athletes of Kerman. The sample size continued until conceptual saturation, which was possible with 16 in-depth interviews among physical fitness athletes in Kerman. The sampling method was purposeful. The data was coded with MAXQDA version 20 software. In order to validate the codes, two other experts did the coders again, and the agreement coefficient of the coding was 0.77. The findings showed that exercise affects the social resilience of athletes. In other words, by changing the way of solving problems and creating resilient habits in athletes, creating social solidarity increases the behavioral characteristic of resilience in athletes. As a result, sports can be introduced as an essential factor in creating psychosocial balance and as a suitable solution for people to transition from crisis.
