The Role of Transformational Leadership Style on Organizational Agility and Academic Entrepreneurship: Reflection on the Moderating Role of Demographic Characteristics
The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of transformational leadership style on organizational agility and academic entrepreneurship through the demographic characteristics of gender, age, work experience, employment status and education.
The current research is based on the objective of an applied type and in terms of a quantitative method, it is a descriptive-correlation type, which was conducted as a survey in the field of research variables. The research population includes employees and managers of Shiraz University, and the statistical sample includes 288 of these employees, including 126 managers and 162 employees, who were randomly selected and analyzed.
The results of the current research, showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the components of transformational leadership style and organizational agility with academic entrepreneurship of employees in Level 01/. There is; There is no significant difference between the components of organizational agility and academic entrepreneurship based on gender, age, education, work experience and type of employment status.
By conducting this research, it was found that the staff of the faculty of humanities and staff had higher organizational agility and the staff of the faculties of educational sciences and psychology, humanities and staff had higher organizational entrepreneurship than other employees of Shiraz University. Also, regarding the variable of transformational leadership style, only the component of individual consideration in one step and regarding the variable of organizational agility, the components of responsiveness, organizational flexibility and competence in three steps have the highest multiple correlation with predicting academic entrepreneurship of employees.
