The Factors Affecting the Control of Aliens' Traffic to Ensure Social Security in the Country
The borders of our beloved country Iran and especially the passport control passages are one of the most important executive shelters of the law enforcement force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which can be considered as a symbol and showcase of this force. Significant increase in the entry of aliens into the country and the presence of aliens in Iranian society as a social phenomenon has many positive and negative effects and consequences in achieving social security, and since the process of controlling aliens at all border crossings, including land borders, water and air are the responsibility of the police to ensure social security, and from the moment of arrival to the moment of leaving the country, the police should be their guide and also trace them. On the other hand, according to security developments in neighboring countries and other parts of the world and the movement of aliens in the country in the form of human trafficking to cross the country and join terrorist groups in other countries or to immigrate and apply for asylum in European countries, which in this way have to use forged documents and passports, therefore, the problems of their presence are always one of the main concerns of the police that all its issues should be investigated. The main purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the components affecting the control of aliens from the time of arrival and stay until departure.
In terms of its objectives this study is of an applied research type and has been done by descriptive-survey method. The statistical population of this study consists of immigration police and aliens, including 153 individuals with more than 5 years of service experience in the provinces of Tehran, Kerman, Gilan and Khorasan Razavi. All of them have been selected as the samples. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. To determine the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient (0.98) was used, which indicates the high validity of the questionnaire.
The findings of this study show that the component of parallel organizations (R = 0.98) has the highest and the component of human resources (R = 0.95) has the lowest correlation with the control variable of aliens. It can be said that with a slight difference, the component of parallel organizations has the most and the component of organizational human resource have the least effect on the control of aliens. Therefore, it is suggested that police managers consider these components in formulating police policies and strategies.
