What are the new approaches of Iran's foreign policy in line with economic diplomacy to overcome problems and remove international sanctions? It seems that one of the approaches of Iran's foreign policy to improve the economic situation in the conditions of international sanctions is to propose and pursue its membership in the BRICS international group, which will also monitor the challenges, consequences and opportunities for Iran (Question , hypothesis).The purpose of this research is to know the capacities and capabilities of the BRICS group and Iran's membership in it (Method-Objective). The findings show that the balance in the obligations that Iran accepts in the process of membership in this institution and the benefits that it has, especially in the conditions of sanctions It is necessary. The most important geo-economic advantage of Iran's membership in this institution is access to financial resources in the reserve mechanism and the new development bank of this institution (findings).
