Abstract:
Ethnicization and the formation of identities in the contemporary period has become one of the most important issues of today's societies, and factors such as wars, deprivations, oppression of rulers, territorial divisions and migration have played a major role in weakening the link between the land, culture and identity of societies. One of the effective factors in the country's policymaking is the examination of the environment around Iran, especially the border areas of the west, which have been the residences of the Kurdish ethnic groups since the distant past. Among these Kurds, a significant population of about two million people are Philanthropic Kurds, most of whom are from the provinces Ilam and Kermanshah have migrated and settled in the eastern provinces of Iraq (Diyali, Wasit, Maysan and Baghdad).
